nervio is an art platform based in guadalajara, mexico.
photography is what we do first. we publish it, print it, sell it, and hang it on walls that have seen things. but we also make room for painting, illustration, and objects that don’t need a caption.
most of the artists here are queer. not all of them. we don’t ask for genders at the door and we don’t label the work. if it moves us, it goes in.
the space in col. americana is where this becomes tangible — exhibitions, sessions, performances, things we haven’t named yet. everything that happens there ends up here, eventually.

exhibitions, temporary shows, drawing sessions, workshops — whatever the room needs that month. mostly photography. sometimes paint, sometimes noise, sometimes a body standing still while twenty people stare.
it’s not a gallery. it’s a room with good light and freedom of expression.
Artshop
buy original work, prints, and objects.
mostly photography — prints from exhibitions, editions from our magazine, pieces that lived on a wall in col. americana and are ready for yours.
we will also stock zines, small objects, and whatever the artists bring us. everything ships internationally. we pack like we care.
money goes to the artist first. then to keeping the lights on. that’s the deal.
we publish a magazine when we have something worth showing.
mostly photography. sometimes the thing next to it — a drawing, a text, an object that doesn’t fit elsewhere. no fixed schedule, no editorial board, no pitch deck.
the artists are mostly queer. some aren’t. we don’t lead with that because the work should speak before the identity does.
we print limited runs. when they’re gone, scan the QR and hope for a reissue.
